Valve has changed Steam refund policy for early access projects

Valve has updated the refund policy on Steam. Now, projects with extended editions that offer early access to the game are subject to the standard rules for returning purchases in the service.

Previously, editions with early access were not subject to a two-hour in-game time limit before the main release; it only began to apply from the moment the game was released. Now this time is also taken into account, and if the limit is exceeded, it will not be possible to return funds.

It is worth noting that the closed loophole could be used by unscrupulous players. They managed to complete the project before release and withdraw funds spent on the game.
