Ubisoft is working on remakes of several Assassin’s Creed games
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot announced that the company is planning to release remakes of several old Assassin’s Creed. Guillemot did not say which projects will receive new versions, but Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will likely be among them — rumors about a remake of this part have been circulating for a long time.
Despite the abundance of upcoming projects in the franchise, the company understands that players need unique and varied content. Thus, Guillemot said that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be strikingly different from Assassin’s Creed Hexe. Ubisoft will try to provide players with unique gameplay in future projects.
The Assassin’s Creed series games regularly receive reissues with cosmetic improvements, but not a single full-fledged remake in the franchise has yet appeared. Perhaps the first details about the Black Flag remake will appear soon.
