The Lord of the Rings Gollum is the lowest rated game in 2023 according to Metacritic

Metacritic has named the top lowest-rated games of 2023. The anti-rating was headed by the notorious The Lord of the Rings Gollum —the project was able to score only 34 points.

The Lord of the Rings Gollum was not just the worst game of all the titles this year: critics called it the worst gaming embodiment of the Lord of the Rings universe in history. It should be noted that you can’t just get into this rating: projects that did not receive seven reviews from the specialized press could not qualify for a place in the top in principle.

Lord of the Rings Gollum has found the right company: Quantum Error (40 points), Gangs of Sherwood (48 points), Greyhill Incident (38 points) and Crime Boss: Rockay City (43 points) found their places in the top. It is noteworthy that the scandalous The Day Before, which never received the notorious seven reviews, was not included in the rating.
