Nintendo Switch 2 will get an 8-inch LCD display

Hiroshi Hayashi, an analyst at Omdia, shared a rumor regarding the next Nintendo Switch. According to Hayashi, the console will have an 8-inch LCD display.

Thus, Switch 2 will become the device with the largest screen among all Nintendo consoles (the previous record holder was the Nintendo Switch OLED with a 7-inch screen; the standard Switch had a diagonal of 6.2 inches). It is curious that Nintendo did not use an OLED screen in its new console — apparently, this technology will be left until one of the next revisions of the console.

The release of Nintendo Switch is expected this year. Nintendo itself does not comment on rumors regarding the device.
