Monolith Co-Founder Wants to Revive the Condemned Franchise

Jace Hall, the co-founder of the recently closed Monolith studio, wants to try to revive the horror franchise Condemned — he wrote about this on his X account. Hall is the sole owner of the rights to the series, so he does not need permission from other copyright holders.

However, Hall still urged fans not to count on a positive result — while the developer is exploring possible options for returning the franchise. However, finding funding for a project in such a narrow genre and without a big name can be difficult.

The Condemned series has 2 games. The second part was released in 2008 on PS3 and Xbox 360.
