Microsoft will port its games to PS5 – among them Starfield and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Many rumors have appeared online about Microsoft’s plans to release its games on the PlayStation 5. Thus, the company is allegedly planning to release Starfield on a Sony’s platform — this could happen before the end of the year.

The Verge stated that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle from MachineGames also could be released on PS5 just a few months after release on PC. VGC’s editor Andy Robinson confirmed that he has heard of many more titles that Microsoft could release on other platforms.

For example, according to rumors, Microsoft is considering transferring a variety of titles in its library, including the most important series for the Xbox like Halo or Gears of War. Games from these franchises may also be candidates for porting to PS5, but Microsoft has not yet made a final decision about that.

The rumors, apparently, were not just rumors – Xbox head Phil Spencer announced that the company will talk about the future of the platform next week. The exact date of the event explaining the new policy is still unknown.
