Microsoft spoke about the new Xbox policy — console exclusives will be released on PlayStation

In the latest Xbox podcast episode, Microsoft top managers discussed the new business policy of the company’s gaming division. As expected, now some Microsoft exclusives will be released on other platforms.

Phil Spencer has announced that four Xbox games will be coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch. What kind of titles these are is still unclear, but the company specifically emphasized that this is not Starfield or Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

However, Microsoft is not giving up on exclusives policy in principle: the company’s new games will continue to be available only on Xbox and PC for some time. So, Bethesda is currently working on a new part of DOOM, which will be available on Xbox and PC at launch, but may later be released on other platforms.

It also became known that Activision Blizzard and King games will begin to be released on Xbox Game Pass from March this year. One of the first titles will be Diablo IV: it will appear on the service on March 28.

In addition, it became known that Microsoft is already working on the next generation Xbox. According to the company’s statement, technically the new console will be a real breakthrough.
