Warner Bros. Games closes Monolith Productions

Warner Bros. Games has announced the closure of several studios: Player First Games (MultiVersis), WB San Diego, and Monolith Productions (F.E.A.R., Condemned: Criminal Origins).

The company called the closure of the studios a difficult strategic move that will allow the publisher to focus on developing games for key franchises. At the same time, the development of the Wonder Woman game, in which the company invested more than $100 million, will be completely stopped — after the closure of Monolith, the project was canceled.

In addition to the F.E.A.R. and Condemned series, Monolith Productions is also known for the spy shooter No One Lives Forever and the action games Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War.
