VK presented its engine named Nau Engine

VK has announced the name of its engine: the technology will be called Nau Engine. In addition, the company presented a manifest trailer and a website of its development.

The IT giant declares wide usage for its engine: according to the company’s intention, Nau Engine will be used not only to develop game projects for consoles and PC, but also to create non-interactive content like movies or CG animation.

Nau Engine will be open source; it will have an API for working with some popular services, as well as its own editor. Now VK is actively hiring employees to work on the project.
