Ubisoft announces blockchain-based Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles

Ubisoft has released the first trailer for Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles, a tactical multiplayer RPG. The main distinguishing feature of the project is the usage of the Oasys blockchain technology.

Players will have to fight against each other with a variety of champions that can be assembled into teams. The way the game will be distributed is not yet known, but Ubisoft has said that there will be some free content in Champions Tactics at launch, so it will likely be an f2p project.

A release date for Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles has not been revealed. Ubisoft also stated that the game will not be available in Russia.
