There are more and more rumors about Half-Life 3 — a new batch was shared by the famous data miner Tyler McVicker. The insider assures that Half-Life 3 (code name of the project — HLX) not only exists, but is also almost ready — the shooter can already be completed from start to finish.

McVicker believes that the announcement of Half-Life 3 may take place this summer: in this case, we can expect the release of the project in winter. At the moment, Valve is engaged in the final polishing of the project and the refinement of all systems. The insider is sure that the third part of the legendary series is not being created for VR headsets. According to McVicker, the third part will not be limited to the characters of Half-Life itself: for example, Chell from Portal may appear in the game — this event will become a bridge to the third part of another franchise of the company.

The latest game in the series, Half-Life: Alyx, was released in 2020. The project is designed exclusively for virtual reality headsets.
