Techland cancels two unannounced games amid record losses

Polish portal Puls Biznesu reported that Techland has canceled two unannounced games — this happened amid record losses for 2024.
The company’s poor financial performance is due to the fact that the publisher’s last release, Dying Light 2: Stay Human, took place back in 2022. The article did not indicate which projects were canceled, but one of them was presumably a fantasy role-playing game, the development of which Techland had previously announced.
In place of the two canceled games, the publisher will be developing a new title — according to journalist Tom Henderson, it will be a new part of Call of Juarez. Techland’s next release should be Dying Light: The Beast, which is scheduled for release in August 2025. The game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
