Tango Gameworks has released the final patch for Hi-Fi RUSH
Tango Gameworks studio has released the last patch for the rhythm action game Hi-Fi RUSH before its closure. The update mainly fixes bugs and adjusts the in-game economy — a patch note with a list of changes is available on the Bethesda website.
The good news for those who are waiting for the disc edition of the action: it is still being prepared for release. The physical edition is not handled by the studio itself, but by Limited Run Games, which continues to work on the disc release of the game.
But we can’t expect a sequel to Hi-Fi RUSH in the foreseeable future. The rights to the Japanese studio’s IP remained with Microsoft, but the corporation is clearly not interested in continuing — especially considering that Tango Gameworks pitched Hi-Fi RUSH 2 to its owner right before it closed.
