Sony Unveils PlayStation 5 Pro — Console to Go on Sale November 7
Sony has officially announced the PlayStation 5. The console will go on sale November 7 for $699.
The main features of the PS5 Pro have already been predicted in numerous leaks. The console will get a more powerful GPU, improved ray tracing, and support for the PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) AI upscaler. The storage size will increase to 2 terabytes. In addition, support for the Wi-Fi 7 standard is announced.
The PS5 Pro will not have a disc drive, but you can connect an external drive from the PS5 Slim to it. The device will retain the usual dimensions of the “classic” PS5: the PS5 Pro is identical in height to the first-generation PS5.
Among the games that will be the first to receive PS5 Pro support are Demon’s Souls, Final Fantasy XVII Rebirth, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, The Last of Us: Part II Remastered, and Alan Wake 2.
