Sony cuts PSVR 2 price to $400

Sony has announced a price cut for the PSVR 2 virtual reality headset: the device will now cost $400 (150 dollars cheaper than the original price tag).

The new price for the gadget will come into effect this month. The official reason for the price cut is not disclosed, but it is clearly due to the low interest in the device from players — helmet had small library of games and the high cost at launch.

PSVR2 can be used not only to launch games from the PS5, but also to connect to a PC via a special adapter.
