S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl runs at 60 fps on Xbox Series X

Digital Foundry’s journalist John Linneman shared his impressions of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 build brought by GSC Game World to Gamescom. The technical reviewer reported that the shooter runs at 60 FPS on Xbox Series X.

Linneman also noted that the build for the Microsoft console did not have any other options — it was only possible to play with this frame rate. The journalist was surprised by the high image quality and the overall technical condition of the project, but even the top console in the Xbox family has a hard time launching the shooter — according to Linneman, the console noticeably heated up during the game.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released on November 20 on PC and Xbox Series.
