Rumor: Ubisoft has postponed Far Cry 7 and the new Assassin’s Creed

Journalist Tom Henderson shared his opinion on Ubisoft’s latest financial report, in which the company announced the postponement of some games in its key series — the publisher was inspired by Assassin’s Creed Shadows and wants to finalize several projects to a high state. According to the insider’s sources, these games are Far Cry 7 and the next part of Assassin’s Creed.
According to the journalist, the now unannounced Far Cry 7 is scheduled for release at the end of 2026. At the same time, Henderson does not rule out that the Splinter Cell remake and the next part of Ghost Recon, which had already been postponed, were included in the list for postponement.
Despite the fact that Ubisoft is generally pleased with its performance, after the publication of the financial report, its shares fell sharply by 20%.
