Rumor: Starfield will be released on PS5 before the end of 2024

An insider nicknamed Silknigth reported about Microsoft’s plans to release Starfield on PS5: according to him, the RPG’s release on the Sony platform will take place before the end of 2024.

Silknigth designated the period from November to December as the release window — as a rule, AAA titles are released in this interval. In addition, the insider said that Microsoft plans to release its games from well-established franchises on competitors’ platforms.

Microsoft itself has not yet announced such plans for Starfield. However, the company’s strategy has recently changed, and the owner of Xbox is indeed planning to publish its projects on other platforms. In turn, Silknigth has already published true leaks (in particular, his information about the PC port of Ghost of Tsushima was completely confirmed), so he may be right in this case as well.
