Rumor: Nintendo May Raise Switch 2 Prices This Year

Analyst Daniel Ahmad reported on Nintendo’s plans: the company is allegedly considering increasing the retail price of Nintendo Switch 2. The price increase could happen either this year or next.

Among the factors influencing the console’s price, Ahmad named difficulties in the global economy: both general inflation and US trade tariffs, in particular those imposed on Vietnam, where some of the Switch 2 is assembled, are having an effect. The first consoles were produced and delivered to warehouses in advance, so their price increase did not affect them.
