Rumor: next PlayStation Portable will be able to run PS5 games

Insider KeplerL2 with a controversial reputation reported several new details about the upcoming PlayStation portable console. According to him, the portable console from Sony will support PS5 games, but in a lower resolution and with a lower frame rate.

KeplerL2 also said that in terms of power, the console will be something in between the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S, but the insider did not reveal even approximate specifications. The approximate release window is the end of 2027 (the device should be released a few months after the release of PlayStation 6).

Sony has not officially announced the development of a new PlayStation Portable, but rumors about it have been actively circulating for several months.
