Rumor: GTA IV and Max Payne 3 will get remasters

Insider Tez2, who specializes in leaks about Rockstar projects, reported that the company is preparing new versions of GTA IV and Max Payne 3 — according to this rumor, the projects have been in development for some time.

It is unknown how large-scale the remasters of both games will be. According to the blogger, the new version of GTA IV has been in development for about a year, and its release may take place before the end of 2025. And the updated Max Payne 3 may come out after the release of GTA, probably after Remedy releases remakes of the first two Max Payne parts.

Officially, Rockstar is currently working only on GTA VI, the release of which is scheduled for May 26, 2026.
