Rumor: Final Fantasy XVI will be released on Xbox Series this spring
Insider NateTheHate reports that Final Fantasy XVI will be released on Xbox Series this spring — 2 years after its release on PS5.
In addition, there are rumors about ports of other parts of the series — Square Enix is allegedly going to port Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy Rebirth to Xbox. These same titles will later appear on Nintendo Switch 2.
Sales of Final Fantasy XVI on PS5 did not live up to Square Enix’s results, and on PC the project was a complete failure. Perhaps the game will perform better on Microsoft consoles.
