Reuters: The European Commission prepares a list of objections to the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard

Reuters, according to unnamed sources, reports that the European Commission is preparing a document with objections to Microsoft’s purchase of Activision Blizzard.
The European Commission statement could create serious problems for closing the deal: despite the fact that Microsoft is cooperating with the regulator, government agency, apparently, still has questions about the legality of a purchase. The European Commission will have to make a decision regarding the purchase of Activision Blizzard by April 11.
Not only Microsoft’s direct competitors like Sony that are concerned about the biggest deal in the gaming industry: earlier, the US Federal Trade Commission filed an administrative complaint to the court, which is scheduled for consideration in August this year. Such actions by regulators could be a serious obstacle for the Xbox owner, which risks losing several billion dollars in case of failure of the deal.
