Reuters reports that Tencent is working on a free-to-play Elden Ring game designed for iOS and Android devices.

The company bought the rights to IP in 2022, but how long development continues is currently unknown. The monetization scheme is also unknown: the f2p model assumes the presence of in-game purchases, but From Software and Tencent refused to respond to a Reuters request about plans to earn money on the project.
