Resident Evil 2 remake coming to iOS and macOS this year

Despite disappointing sales of its games on Apple platforms, Capcom continues to release ports of its projects on iOS and macOS. Thus, it became known that the Resident Evil 2 remake will be available on iPhone, iPad and Mac before the end of this year.

The release date is December 31 — with a high degree of probability, this is a placeholder, and the company will reveal the exact date later. The project will be available on iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max and newer, as well as for Mac computers and iPad with an M1 chip and newer.

Like previous ports, the beginning of the remake will be available for free, and the full version can be purchased in the in-game menu. Capcom clarifies that an Internet connection is required to play.
