Resident Evil 1 received Age Rating on PC

Gematsu portal noted that the original Resident Evil has received an age rating on PC. Considering that the first part of the franchise has already appeared on computers, Capcom is probably preparing a re-release of the game.

It is unknown what the difference will be between this version and the Resident Evil remaster, which has already been released on Steam. However, the new iteration is unlikely to receive significant improvements — like those in remakes of the numbered parts of the series.

Capcom has not yet made any official comments about the project. The company is probably preparing an announcement for the gamescom 2024, which will be held in August.
