PUBG: Battlegrounds will be closed on PS4 and Xbox One on November 13

Krafton announced that PUBG: Battlegrounds will stop working on past-gen consoles on November 13.

Players will keep their in-game purchases and progress on their accounts — they will be able to transfer to the native versions for PS5 and Xbox Series, which should be released by the date of the outdated platforms’ shutdown.

According to the publisher’s statement, the decision to disable the project on past-gen consoles is dictated by the intention to provide a stable gaming experience and the stability for future updates for the “battle royale”.
