Nintendo will not participate gamescom 2024

Nintendo has officially announced that it is withdrawing from gamescom 2024. Although Nintendo acknowledges the importance of the event to the industry, but after careful consideration, the company has decided to skip the event.

Probably, the company’s presentation for gamescom was initially built around the successor to the Nintendo Switch and first projects for console. However, according to rumors, the release of the device was postponed until March next year and now Nintendo does not see any point in its participation in the exhibition.

This year, gamescom will be held from August 21 to 25. Other major players like Sony and Microsoft are planning to participate in the event.
