Nintendo will anounce Switch 2 before April 2025

Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa shared news about Switch 2 through the company’s Japanese Twitter account: the top manager said that the successor to the hybrid console will be presented before the end of the current fiscal year, which ends at the end of March 2025.

At the next Nintendo Direct presentation, which will be held in June, the new console will not appear — the company will continue to talk about games for the original Switch.

Furukawa also noted that support for the first generation will continue in the future, so the console will have a few more years of “life.”
