Nintendo Switch 2 to be released on June 5 for $450

Nintendo held a big Direct presentation, where it shared details about Switch 2 and the lineup of first-wave projects. The console will be released on June 5, and its price will be $450. Pre-orders will start on April 8.
The console received a 7.9-inch LCD screen with HDR support and 120 Hz refresh rate. In portable mode, the display resolution will be 1080p, and when connected to a docking station — 4K (with a limit of 60 FPS). The console’s memory capacity will be 256 gigabytes. In addition, support for 3D sound is declared.
On the right joy-con of Switch 2 there is a C-key – it will allow you to access GameChat, allowing players to communicate in one or different games (the service will be paid). The controller can also be used as a mouse.
The first wave of console games will include both well-known hits (Elden Ring, Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Split Fiction) and unexpected surprises. For example, The Duskbloods is a new action game from FromSoftware and Hidetaka Miyazaki. Hollow Knight: Silksong will also appear on Switch 2, but its release is still planned for this year.
