NCSOFT May Have Cancelled Horizon Universe Game-as-Service

NCSOFT is facing financial problems: as reported by MTN, the company has stopped working on projects codenamed Panthera, J and H (the latter may be the game service for Sony’s Horizon franchise).

NCSOFT began working on the H project even before the partnership with Sony — initially it was a title on Unreal Engine 5, which was planned to be released on PC and mobile platforms. Before the closure, about a hundred people worked on the game.

Despite the possible cancellation of the game, it is still worth waiting for a multiplayer title in the Horizon universe: the other online action in the universe is also being developed by Guerilla Games. However, there are no details about the game yet.
