Multiplayer action based on The on Last of Us can be released on the PS4

Perhaps the multiplayer game service for The Last of Us will be released not only on PS5, but also on PS4. This suggestion is based on the updated list of vacancies on the Naughty Dog website.

According to the list, the studio has opened a vacancy for a multiplayer QA tester. Among the required skills is “working knowledge of PS4 and PS5 systems”.

Initially, multiplayer action based on The Last of Us was supposed to be an extension for the second part, but later the game grew into an independent large project. Perhaps the high cost of development prompted Naughty Dog to expand the action base with the owners of the previous generation of PlayStation.
