Microsoft plans to release Fable, Starfield and Killer Instinct on PS5 and Switch 2
The Vandal portal, citing unnamed sources, reported on Microsoft’s upcoming plans to release even more games to competitors’ platforms. For example, the company is currently working on ports of Fable, Killer Instinct, Starfield, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition — these titles may appear not only on PS5, but also on Nintendo Switch 2.
The publication reports that the first releases on third-party platforms will be Starfield and Killer Instinct: for example, Bethesda has been working on porting the space RPG for over a year. And Fable may be released on Switch 2 and PS5 at the same time as its release on PC and Xbox Series.
It recently became known that Forza Horizon 5 will be released on PS5 — the release will take place this spring. In addition, rumors regularly appear on the Internet about the transfer of the Halo and Gears of War series to PlayStation, but Microsoft itself has not yet confirmed them.
