Microsoft changes Game Pass plans

Microsoft has once again revised its Game Pass pricing, with some subscription versions receiving new features and updated pricing.

The initial Xbox Game Pass Core has been renamed with Xbox Game Pass Essential, its price and functionality unchanged ($10). Xbox Game Pass Standard is now called Xbox Game Pass Premium, with the same price ($15), but the available library has significantly expanded to include over 200 games.

The price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, however, has been halved, from $20 to $30. This plan includes new services: the Ubisoft+ Classics collection and Fortnite Crew. Additionally, the Ultimate version will now feature over 75 games annually, available from launch.

The new service rules are now in effect for all regions.
