Konami is preparing to announce Silent Hill 2 for Switch 2.

The official Silent Hill 2 website has announced the game’s release on new platforms. It’s highly likely that the project will appear on Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch 2. The horror was an exclusive for the PS5, but the contract with Sony is coming to the end.

Despite Nintendo’s extreme reluctance to share Switch 2 devkits, Bloober Team—the developers of the Silent Hill 2 remake — have managed to release Cronos: The New Dawn on the hybrid console. The project was likely tested on devkits requested by Konami for the Silent Hill 2 port — like Nintendo, the publisher is located in Japan and could be one of the few companies to receive hardware from the Big N.

Bloober Team is also known to be working on a remake of the first Silent Hill, but no details about the game are yet available.
