Jason Schreier: Guerilla Games is working on a multiplayer Horizon game

Jason Schreier shared information about Guerilla Games projects in the Spawncast podcast. According to the insider, the studio is actively working on Horizon Online, but the release of the third part in the foreseeable future is not worth waiting for.

Schreier did not specify whether the studio has started working on the project at all — perhaps the release of a full-fledged sequel will take place on the next generation of PlayStation. At the same time, the multiplayer spin-off of the franchise is in active development: according to Schreier, Horizon Online is one of the few service projects that managed to survive the recent “purge” at Sony. Apparently, the PlayStation owner really believes in the potential of the title.

The next game in the Horizon universe will be Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered: the long-awaited re-release with improved graphics will out on October 31 on PS5 and PC.
