Insider Gaming: new God of War part in development

The Insider Gaming reported that the new God of War part is being actively developed by Sony Santa Monica.

The portal emphasized that this is not a metroidvania, which is planned to be released before the end of this year, but a full-fledged numbered game in the franchise. Corey Balrog, the game director of the 2018 reboot, is not directly involved in the development — a separate sci-fi project is being developed under his leadership.

The latest part in the series, God of War: Ragnarok, was released in 2022. The project is available on PS4, PS5 and PC.
