Insider Gaming: Development of Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still at an early stage
Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming shared some bad news for those who are waiting for Beyond Good and Evil 2: according to him, the development of the game is still at an early stage.
Henderson said, that despite the fact that several internal tests have been passed out inside the studio since last summer, Ubisoft still believes that BG&E 2 at the early stage of production. The journalist allegedly even had several screenshots from the latest version of the project at his disposal (after the pre-alpha of 2018 production was restarted).
Henderson states that the new version of the game is low-detailed: the new build has low-quality graphics and empty locations that have not yet been filled with objects. At a relatively tolerable level remained only spaceships. It means, according to Henderson’s suggestion, the release of BG & E 2 is unlikely to take place at least in the next two years.
Officially, the development of the sequel to Michel Ancel’s project has been going on for 14 years – the first trailer for Beyond Good and Evil 2 was shown back in 2008.
