Halo: The Master Chief Collection may be released on Switch 2

Journalist Tom Warren from The Verge stated that Microsoft may release Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Nintendo Switch 2 — however, the collection for the hybrid console will not include all the games of the edition.

According to Warren, the collection is indeed being prepared for release not only on PS5, but also on the Nintendo platform, but the content of both collections on the consoles will be different. It will probably not be possible to port all the shooters to Switch 2 due to the technical limitations of the console, but some media believe that Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will be removed from the list, since Microsoft is preparing a new re-release of the original game. However, in this case, it is unclear why all parts of the collection are may be released on PS5.

Microsoft has not officially commented on the release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection outside of Xbox and PC, but due to the company’s changed policy, these plans may well come true.
