Glen Schofield wants to make a new part of Dead Space

The author of the original Dead Space, Glen Schofield, states that he wants return to work on the series. The developer posted a message on his X account dedicated to the sixteenth anniversary of the series, in which he thanked fans for their support, and also stated that he would like to work on the franchise again.

It is worth noting that the Dead Space series has already been frozen twice: the first time EA froze the franchise after an unsuccessful third part, and the second time the series was put on pause after unsatisfactory sales of the first Dead Space remake.

However, for the EA Scofield probably doesn’t looks like a person who can revive the series: his The Callisto Protocol did not gain popularity among players and earned average ratings from critics.
