FromSoftware is not working on a sequel to Elden Ring — the studio is focused on other projects

At the PlayStation Partner Awards ceremony, Hidetaka Miyazaki told journalists about FromSoftware’s plans. Thus, according to the game designer, the studio is not working on a sequel to Elden Ring, but may return to this universe in the future.

FromSoftware is currently developing several projects in different genres — not all of them are managed personally by Miyazaki. The game designer believes that such diversity will help the company show itself from different sides.

Earlier it became known that Sony is considering the acquisition of Kadokawa Corporation — the owner of FromSoftware. To date, the deal between the companies has not yet been completed.
