Electronic Arts doubled prices for its games in Turkey
Publisher EA has doubled the prices of its games in the PS Store and Microsoft Store for Turkish players. Now the cost of the company’s projects in the region exceeds the price of similar projects in dollars.
For example, the remake of Dead Space, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and EA Sports FC 2024 now cost 2,900 liras instead of 1,400 liras – at the current exchange rate, the price for new games from the publisher is more than $80.
In addition, the company raised prices for its old projects like It Takes Two and Mass Effect Legendary Edition: their cost increased from 400 to 1,500 liras (more than $40).
