Elden Ring Nightreign may get a two-player coop mode

IGN interviewed FromSoftware employees responsible for the cooperative roguelite action Elden Ring Nightreign, which will be released on May 30. Among the topics raised, was the question of the lack of a two-player mode.

At release, Nightreign will only support solo mode or three-player coop. However, the number of requests for the ability to play the action by two players was so great that the developers thought about such a mode — it may be added after the release, but the authors have not yet disclosed the exact timing of its appearance.

Elden Ring Nightreign will be released on May 30 on PC, Xbox Series and PS5. FromSoftware considered the option of a conditionally free distribution model, but ultimately decided to make the action paid.
