EA Closes Cliffhanger Games Studio and Cancels Black Panther Game

EA has canceled the adventure action about Black Panther and closed the Cliffhanger Games that was developing the game. This became known from an internal letter from Laura Mealy, President of EA.
The reason for the studio’s closure and the cancellation of the project was the publisher’s desire to focus on growth points for the company. Now EA will focus on its key franchises: Apex Legends, Battlefield, The Sims and Skate. At the same time, the development of the Iron Man game from EA Motive will continue without changes.
The company promised to help the laid-off Cliffhanger Games employees, including by trying to find them positions in its other divisions.
