DOOM: The Dark Ages will be released on Switch 2

An insider under the nickname eXtas1s, citing unnamed sources, reported that DOOM: The Dark Ages will be released not only on current-generation consoles, but also on the Nintendo Switch 2. Apparently, the console from the Japanese company will have quite high performance.

Microsoft did not announce the upcoming release of the shooter on Switch 2 due to Nintendo’s own plans — the company is actively fighting leaks and wants to give out information about the new console in measured doses. Perhaps the port of the shooter will be announced at the April presentation of the big N.

DOOM: The Dark Ages is officially scheduled for release on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. The Switch 2 version may be released simultaneously with the console’s arrival on the market — this should happen in 2025.
