Developers Of Displacement urgently seek investment — first trailer and details

Obelisk Studio announced the action horror named Displacement. The team called the announcement forced: the project is on the verge of closing and the authors are trying to attract attention to the game in order to receive investment for further development.

Displacement tells the story of a psychologist at a polar station, whose inhabitants have gone mad. The horror will force the player to literally fight for survival: the authors promise intense and brutal hand-to-hand fights (including with bosses) using various melee weapons.

The developers are trying to make a full-fledged gameplay mechanic out of madness: the loss of sanity will allow the hero to acquire useful abilities in battle. Gradually, the protagonist will be able to turn from a victim into a bloodthirsty predator.

The team has now completely prepared a vertical section of the game. The developers ask to add Displacement to Steam wishlists and spread information about the project — perhaps Obelisk will be able to attract investments for further work on the horror.
