Dead Take with a star cast will be released on July 31

Surgent Studio has announced the release date of Dead Take: the horror will be released on July 31.

In Dead Take, players will have to explore an abandoned mansion in the outskirts of Hollywood. The main character of the project is an actor who is looking for his friend who went missing at a party. The gameplay will be typical for modern representatives of the genre — Dead Take is focused on exploration of the environment and solving puzzles.

The project is notable for its cast: Sam Lake (creative director of Remedy), Laura Bailey (The Last of Us: Part II), Matthew Mercer (Titanfall 2), Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI) and others played in Dead Take.

Dead Take will only be available on PC, the developers have not yet shared plans to release the game on other platforms.
