Crysis 4 development is suspended

Crytek officially announced the freezing of the Crysis 4 production: in fact, development has been suspended since the fall of 2024.

Despite the fact that Hunt: Showdown 1896 brings profit to the company, the results of the project are not enough to cover the development of the next part of the shooter. Now Crytek is transferring the Crysis 4 team to support the battle royale and cutting 15 percent of its staff (about 60 people).

Nothing is known about the future of Crysis 4 yet — perhaps the game’s production will be resumed in the future.
