Capcom Closes Re:Verse

Capcom has closed the servers of the multiplayer action Re:Verse, which took place in the Resident Evil universe. The project and all its content were removed from sale on March 30.
On Twitter, the project team noted that one of the goals of the game was to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the horror franchise, and Re:Verse accomplished this task. But despite the fact that the game could be received as a gift for purchasing Resident Evil Village, reviews from players were mostly negative — the lack of content and many technical problems affected it.
Re:Verse was released in October 2022 on PC, Xbox Series and PS5. Thus, the project existed for almost three years, which can be considered an achievement, given the reviews and low online.
