Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and 3 Remasters Given Age Ratings

The Australian Ratings Board has given age ratings to the proposed remasters of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and 3: in the documents, they are called MW2 — PS5 Cross-Gen Edition and MW3 — Cross-Gen Edition.

Activision Blizzard has not officially announced the release of the remasters. Apparently, the publisher is indeed preparing remasters of these games for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series — the list of improvements will probably be comparable to the remaster of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, released in 2016. Most likely, the remasters will have no multiplayer — this decision will help avoid the outflow of players from Call of Duty: Warzone.

The original Modern Warfare 2 was released in 2009, and the threequel went on sale in 2011.
